i guessing it's my heater hose that is leaking b/c after driving around town for about 10 mins. and if i shut off my car and pop the hood you can hear something leaking and boiling..this just started happening like 2 days ago....will this cause any kind of engine failure??

 

maybe. Why not replace the heater hose? Its pretty easy. I THINK the one on the back of the head is a 3/8ths at the local autozone.
