I posted a couple of years ago and got some feedback. I'm just checking back to see if anyonen found out something new.

Problem is as follows:

Turn on AC and I drive
While driving and not coming to a stop, I would turn off AC
When I eventually come to my first stop after a drive, the freeway off ramp, toll booth, deer..red light..
the car would completely die.

this happens regardless of lenght of drive...2 blocks or 20 miles.

HELP!

 

Alternator? i had the same problem and replace my alternator and it was all good. good luck

 

Do the jump in the diagnostic port for the fuel ecu and see if that solves your problem. do a search for fuel ecu idling stall. Seems to be a common problem in high mileage / age cars.
