What bulb comes in the Japanese headlights? My car has a stock driver's side headlight and a supposedly JDM Soarer passenger side headlight. The previous owner tried to put PIAA's in but only the driver's side would fit. Now my passenger side bulb has burned out and I'm not sure what size I need to pick up since the stock size doesn't work. Black_SC told me that he had the same problem when he had one headlight of each kind, but didn't remember what bulb size it was.

Been trying to search some more and on a Soarer forum they suggested taking the 9006 and cutting the tabs down until they fit right, anybody have any experience doing that?

And, yes, I have done this before. Just get a decent file and go to town.

 

Use a pair of wire cutters, and theres no fileing.
