Default Different SC400 Interiors?

I'm a noob when it comes to these cars, but I had a 92 SC4 and I'm in the market for another one. I've come across 1 or 2 SC4's with slightly different interiors than im used to seeing. The shifters are wood grain and chrome and the needles are blue instead of red... and im sure a number of other things are different. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Are these a special edition or something? Also... totally unrelated, does anyone know a good place to find a gold "soarer" emblem? Thanks homies!

There is the ever so rare SC400 O.L.T. Edition...It comes with custom gauges and 36 sub woofers with 4000 watts of power, But the stereo only plays 80's rap.

You might be looking at a newer model....somewhere around this site is a link with all the differences and options for each year.

If I'm not mistaken is this what you are talking about?

This is Lexuriouss's car

Also the blue needles, you mean like this?

Sorry, that is my pic, and it was blurry.

Similar. The needles look the same... the shifter looks different though... the ones ive seen are mostly wood grain. I'm gonna assume that its aftermarket.

Either way, I think it looks nice.

what year sc4 are you talking about? because on the newer ones it has the wood grain gated shifter. does the shifting go strait forward and back with a large dildomatic or do you have to move it like a maze?

You're not talking about the needles are you? I know Lextech has done that with the backlighting but not the needles, they use a different method for those. Maybe OLT would like to chime in.

He's talking about something different. He has a few small led's stuck in the end of his needle lighting the tip up. Nothing like the LLS stuff you have. totally different, you are correct.

Just to clarify, and correct me if i'm wrong, but do you mean he has the setup that you were showing off a bit back where the tip of the needle is a different color from the rest of it? Or is this something he just did at home? I would like to see an example picture.

here's mine

I chose to only light up part of each needle, however if I wanted, all it takes is a few more led's wired in...

the led's are $1.50 for ten, plus shipping on ebay... I used 6 per big needle, and 3 per small needle, total of 18... if you wanted to entirely fill in the needle, it would take twice as many... so, $6 plus shipping and a few hours of work...

You wouldn't get away with more. Too much heat. That's why

(a)- the factory needles melt.

(b)- aluminum smd's are not longer built by anyone, including after market.

*voice of experience. Those will probably last about 4 months (maybe 6) since they are only about half the heat. Just can't stuff that many smd's in one spot. Lexus found that out the hard way.
