PR-Sc400:
Hey! I posted a note here a few days ago about this very topic. Mine was bent and is has a permanent wave in it. At the advice of a body shop guy, I used a blow dryer on HOT to try and relax the black plastic/rubber. However the outside temp was in the low 30's and I could not overcome the cold.

What exactly are you trying to do to the front lower spoiler?
Kamanini (sp?) makes a replacement lower skirt for about $400 that fits over the stock 92-93 front bumper cover lower portion. IT is the least intrusive fix to this I have seen. Does require some painting and fitting however.

Default FRONT END SPOILER...

Actually, I read your posting yesterday but I couldn't find any repair.
I was wondering how the Kamanini's spoiler price compares with Lex's original one. Do you have any picture of it or is it just the same as the original?
I also thought of changing the front mask for a more recent model (they don't come with this black thing!) since I've heard it is a bolt on procedure with no mayor mods to go through. However I don't know if this is really true and I expect the price to be quite high!

The Kaminari is shown at their website..

It is for the 1992 - 1993 SC only. It appears to be a screw on unit and in talking to them, it is fibreglass and uses a two sided tape compound along with screws. You have to have it primed and painted and fitted and drilled. The actual sequence is fitting, drilling, primed, sanded, primed, painted, clear coated then install. The front unit alone is just shy of $400. They can make one up in under 2 weeks. I do not have one. The rubber spoiler on our cars is close to $385 without the three metal mounting brackets that go on behind it. I suppose you can use the 3 brackets that are on the current cowl. Is your cowl or bumper cover bent as well OR is just the black spoiler bent or wavey. Take a real close look as the lower part of the cowling (Aka bumper cover) may be bent or dimpled in a minor way. If you get the new style cowl, you would have to get the tiny thin grille as well. I do like the looks of the 98-99 bumper cover. This is a big tradeoff. I wonder what it would cost to prime and paint a new cover up? I will check tomorrow with my dealer and report back.

My front end is covered in rock dots and cracks and all manner of destruction, so I kill 2 birds with one stone
