Today i installed new trunk shocks, my old ones were toast and i was tired of holding it up by hand or locating a stick so i purchased some new shocks and it has to be one of the best things ive done yet!! it took me about 20min total, 15 min for the first side and 5 min for the other side once i knew what i was doing, with just one installed it held it up fine however with both of them on there when i either push the dash button or turn the key the trunk flies open, you have to watch out when you open it now or itll hit you.

I also installed another steering wheel since mine was worn out, i just got one that was in great condition from a 97 and replaced it, i also installed a near mint shifter **** and e-brake boot at the same time. I also replaced the fog lights with some other ones i got a deal on, they arent the best but they are definatly better than the hiddeous water damaged ones i had.

It feels good to actually be able to do something, ive had all these things sitting around in boxes waiting to be put on for a while i just havent had time to do it.

Next i have to figure out the wiring on the fogs so they come on with the parking lights instead of just the headlights like i did on my GS.

Use a single relay and tap the parking light as your switch or "trigger". Did this a while back on mine. http://www.classictruckshop.com/club...h/foglites.htm

95 and 96 foglights
when i did it on my GS i didnt use a seperate relay i just cut the small trigger wire going into the factory relay and made a new one from the parking lights to the relay, just wondering if someone has done it and knows wire colors or where the relay is located to save me some time??

Also ive noticed that on my car the foglights are next to useless, they just seem to be of poor design and dont light up the road very much, has anyone else noticed this? i think that people didnt like the grandpa type turning lights on a sport coupe(92-94) so in 95 they just turned them into foglights instead without changing much else which is why they arent that great. ive thought of putting some HID's in them but it may be a waste of time.
im not sure about the 97+ style since ive never used them maybe they are better????
