Some guys visiting my base for an operation weren't paying attention... this is what happened.

Must have been Navy guys that did that but it doesn't look like a total to me guess the estimator will know better.

 

I'm thinking we had the discussion on the huge pics before with image tags..............

Well I live in a town with 4-5 Auto Shops (All poorly ran and do pretty **** poor work) So yea... repairable but will probably look like shiat when I get it back..

 

Dang sorry to hear. They hit it right at the line too. Is it just me or does the dent remind you guys of a pair of red lips.

2174 before 500 deductible... I better not have to pay it or I'll be pretty pissed off.

 

I had a similar dent fixed in the same spot for $700 from a local guy. They did a pretty good job too for me. Just depends on who you know I guess.

Did that estimate involve bondoing the quarter panel, or cutting it out and replacing it?

I had quotes from the lexus reccomended bodyshop for $2200 for the quarterpanel replacement and $1500 to just pull it out and bondo it up.

 

One of the worst spots to get a dent on our cars, in my opinion.

I have similar damage too, but only about half that size.

What were they driving with their eyes closed? That is a pretty huge dent. I hope the party responsible for this is planning on taking care of it. New paint job!
