Dash light for tail lights on
The rear taillight burned out light came on in my 97 sc300 came on so I replaced the burned out bulb. The dash light stayed on. I then replaced all the bulbs in that taillight. Dash light still on. Owners manual was no help.
It's seems to say it should go out when the bulb is replaced. All bulbs light including brake light.
Is there a way to reset the dash indicator?
Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!

When in doubt, reboot.
Disconnect the battery for about half an hour. Everything will reset - clock, trip meters, radio presets, seat memory, even the fuzzy logic in the ECU. Maybe the lamp monitor will reset too.

mine comes on like on the clock once every 8 days . i just turn off and on the car, and it goes away. I checked for burnt out bulbs, and nothing. And I've reset the ecu. So i may just take the bulb out.

Sorry about the duplicate entry!! My cable modem went out during the storm and I lost my internet connection. I didn't think the entry got through.
God bless Comcast!
Thanks for the responces.

make sure all the connections are clean. Sometimes the connectors get corroded and then cause this type of thing. Also make sure the harness connections behind the rear panel in the trunk are properly plugged in everywhere and not loose

Yup that's what I did.....I don't miss the little yellow car
