Default The damage

Less than 24 hours after buying my Lexus, I hit a deer with it. The thing came out of nowhere.

Damage minor, but still there.

Headlight destroyed (Miraculously still works though)

Hood warbled.

Do you have to remove the bumper to remove and install a new headlight assembly?

Also...why do my posts keep getting deleted?

I usually search for stuff and can't find it, therefore I post here.

Sorry to hear about damage on your car..

As for head light assembly, you should get a pair of 2002+ if you need to replace them. According to this thread, you'll get better output/sharper cut off. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...=171477&page=1

Sorry to hear about your car and the deer. You only have to remove the bumper if you are changing out the high beam assembly. As for the headlights, any of them you buy from the Lexus dealer nowadays should be the new version with the sharper cutoff.

No kidding. I picked the car up at 7:30 Monday night and wrecked it around 6:15 Tuesday morning.

Not even twelve hours :/

Wow thats a real shame. As for removing the headlights its not hard at all, just go behind the headlight through the wheel well, and from above under the hood, there are 3 bolts holding it down. GL.
