i've got a real dumb question...

there's always talks about importing xxxx vehicles to the US and how it needs to go through customs, safety checks, etc. does anyone have any information pertaining to exporting vehicles from the states to another country?

i just remembered the ford mustang gt500 commercial where they exported his vehicle to europe, thus the question. tia.

 

It depends on the country. Mexico is not very hard if you want to temporarily import it like I did with my RX300, but doing it permanently is an expensive proposition.

 

i'm looking at hong kong.

 

u will have to get ahold with someone at DOT in HK. either that or do research online. only way u will find out for sure. each country is different.
