These are sooooooo cheap--- $4500 w/ T56 and you got 375 hp just with ecu tune-- maybe a little more-- AND--

Better Gas Mileage

Sounds sooooo good to me--

The LS motors are one thing the Americans did right --

Simply put, nobody can beat the design-- no matter who it is-- Freakin pushrod motor and it can get 30mpg in a vette-- come on --
Ive seen like 20 RX-7s with these LS-1/LS-2 swaps. Very common now. I have heard of the RB26 swapped SCs. I think there are two threads floating around the forum. One old and one just recently created. But yeah those swaps are crazy. But I think if I were to do a crazy swap of anykind I would drop in the crazyy 2JZGTE in my SC300.

I would prefer to do a 2.5TT conversion, but I'm afraid the LS swap would be more straight forward minus some fabrication needed--

And talk about reliable-- N/A those motors get crazy with just a cam ($200 for a single killer cam) and some ecu tuning (I think there's just a LITTLE bit of aftermarket support in the way of shorty/long headers and ECU mods available)--

I was really leaning toward the RX7 FC swap with a std. LS1 -- But I love the SC--

The only thing is that the FC could be made into a bike killer fairly cheap with a lightly modded LS2 as they run 11's stock with a T56 and headers--

With that setup you're just a 150 shot away from 10's and the running gear doesn't break in the Sport, Touring, or TT model-- unbelievably overbuilt-- You can get an FC for about $1000 with no motor too--

I think they handle pretty well too --
