OK, the 98 Sc's are pretty cheap now, unlike 4 yrs ago. They are almost a decade old and the price is reaching obtainable amounts for most enthusiasts out there.

Would you give up your pre-98 for a 98+ or go for another lexus model when the time comes? Have you had your fill of SC's with your pre-98, or do they just make you want a 98+ even more?

Take the poll!

PS- The 97 wasn't an option because it is useless IMO from an upgrade standpoint. From the driver standpoint it's almost identical aside of the cathode lit cluster. Anyone can convert a 92 exterior wise pretty cheap. I didn't see it as an upgrade so it is not included in the convo. Anything that comes with the *****-matic is not an upgrade

98+ only for the choice.

WORD

When I sell my 94 SC sometime next year, I am going to look first and foremost for a 98+ SC400. Gated shifter, 5 speeds, more ponies, updated style

If I can't find one of those, I am in the market for something with 4 doors and a 5 speed.....used IS300

I did and let me tell you that you will have a new found respect for the gen 1 SC. The 98+ SC4 drive like the new lexos with quick power and even has the 3 button lex key w/ the flashing lights and chirp

Highly recommended.

I'd still trade my 97 SC300 for a 2000 SC400, but it would have to have equal or lesser miles...which will probably be impossible to find
