Default new sc driver on the streets

whatup, thought i'd throw myself out there and greet you sc drivers out there.

i recently got a 95 sc300 back in late feb, been lookin in this forum for mods and it's helped me get a bit of a concept for the look of my car.
im aiming for black on gold wheels yee

as far as performance, i wanna swap it with the supra motor, as does a lot of people huh ? but im still tryin to find if i can get a connect around here cause i'd also need to convert my auto to standard
about my car;
bought it for 4100 from a doctor in CA with 150k.

1995 Lexus SC300
-original dealership black paint, but lookin to paint it a deeper black
-exterior; good condition, a couple mini size dinks that tick me off lookin at it
-interior; a little crack in the doorpanel and the leathers been pretty worn out
-stock rims, i want gold 5 or 6 spoke shoes though

also, if someone can, send me a picture or link of a JDM Soarer
yeah pretty nub, but i figure i should ask

Your car already comes with a "Supra motor" and there is no need to change to manual unless you WANT a manual.

to clarify what this means, because it is a little vague. SC300's come with the 2jz-ge, that is the toyota supra non-turbo motor. the motor that you are looking at swapping into your car is the 2jz-gte (the T in gte is for turbo), the twin turbo supra motor. you also do not have to change your automatic to a 5spd if you dont want to, it also may be cheaper for you if you stay automatic. hope that helps

it's exactly the same as a supra motor ? hah my bad i didnt do research but im already getting help, thanks.

so if i put in twin turbo and it's a 2jz-gte huh ? sounds a bit tacky but yo, works for me; spend some money and get a T added to my engine's name
and whats a 1jz-gte ? an older supra engine or one with a single turbo or something heh =x

as far as pics, ima try to put em up as quickly as i can, first i need to get this friend of mine to take pictures of it cause my phone camera blows

If you put twins on your 2jz-ge you would still have a 2jz-ge, only with turbos. The internals are different between the ge & gte.

The 1jz is a 2.5L twin turbo motor that was only offered in Japan and some other countires where the cars were exported to. I don't know offhand all the models the 1j was offered in but it was in the Soarer 2.5 GT.
