hey wuts up..im kinda new to this forum..but yea..anyways..i own a 92 sc300..5 speed..and the thing is..just recently..the clutch pedal has been a bit sticky and sticking to the floor every so often..im able to lift it back up to its original position by hand then press the clutch again..has this happened to any of you guys? if so, or not, do you have any ideas on how to fix it or what may be wrong with it? would i just have to spray some wd-40 on it? because the clutch is rather new..changed in about november-ish..it has an RPS Max clutch right now..so yea..any help? thanks in advance!

 

I would just double check and make sure your fluid levels are good. If so, it wouldn't hurt to re-bleed the clutch system. If that doesn't fix it, I'd check the master or slave cylinder and make sure that they are functioning properly.

 

Probably a fuxored master/slave cylinder. Usually, the master cylinder. Fix it now before it blows completely and you are trying to drive down the road pulling the clutch pedal out with your left hand to get it back into gear and swerving all over the place...

that's always fun...

 

I think this would have to be agreed that it is a master cylinder issue.

 

okay..so it turns out that i was a bit low on fluid..so i just added some and its feeling a whole lot more responsive! thanks a bunch guys!

okay..im starting to have the same problem. i already bled the clutch master cylinder and my car only has 124k mi. and ive been reading that most people have had theirs go up to 170+. so that means i should still have a long while to go until i have to change mine. but mine keeps on sticking usually if u depress it softly while in motion. it shouldnt be the clutch, because the clutch was just changed recently last year. i bled it until there were no air bubbles, and this was the 2nd time i tried bleeding it. any clue? am i doing it wrong maybe?

 

Try changing the master clutch cylinder.

 

I am having the same problem. It started yesterday.

I also am burning or leaking oil. I cant find any oils spots.

Could the problems be related?

 

i dont think the oil burning/leaking would do with the clutch. the clutch has its own thing. i actually had to replace my master cylinder and slave because mine went out. after that, it was all gravy.

first try bleeding the clutch to make sure its not just a few air pockets. then if that doesnt work, you may have to replace the master cylinder and/or the slave. as for the oil, you dont see any oil on the floor where you park?

reviving an old thread, but seeking answers if anyone has the same problem but managed to have solved it. My clutch pedal doesn't seem to want to pull all the way back up. Checked my fluids, they seemed fine and up to level. Just annoys me to have to pull the pedal up with my foot to engage in the cruise control...

 

my issue was either the master or the slave I replaced both for 150. it was pretty easy to do my self it took about 4 hours and I had no idea what i was doing. I work very slow and took my time because i didn't want to mess anything up.

 

as i'm going through the threads, seems to be design flaws and snapping of the clutch pedals...? so you've replace the master and slave cylinders and now your clutch pulls all the way back up?
