Default engine shaking HELP

sup guys

jus got my car lowered and i was so happy until my engine started shaking. it started hesitating and shaking. i did a search and it does seem like a cylinder isnt firing but im a noob so idk. its lost power and shakes pretty bad. anyone have a clue in whats going on? i just lowered it, drove it to a friends house and did a roll on the fenders. btw i found a diy on youtube. it took me 5 secs with a baseball bat.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDTK9IjKIYU. the car is really sluggish. if anyone can it would be much appreciated.
thanks in advance

Sounds like you need to check your caps/rotors/distributors. Both of mines crapped out and I had the same symtoms: sluggish feel, shakey engine, etc. Dont drive it for too long because fuel will build up in your cats and they will start to glow super red and thats not good. :]

i have a missing issue also...

it just started a couple weeks ago... only on a cold start. sounds like its running on 4 cylinders and would not even stay on most of the time. but then after a couple cranks and turning on and off it suddenly just goes back to normal then idle smooth like a lex should. i dont know whats wrong with mine. it does it randomly

ive done the cap rotor plugs and wires...

Thumbs up SimplyZBes aka The Master Hater

There are a few possibilities as to why this is happening.
1. You could have a dead or dying coil.
2. It could be a bad plug or bad plug wire.
3. Also, you could have one or more bad fuel injectors
4. Also, faulty air flow meter can do that as well.
5. Did you get any components under the hood wet?
6. Check out your igniter as well.
7. IAC Valve

This is all I can think of right now for you to check on. If I can think of any more things, I will amend this post. Hope this helps.
