Default Engine Running HOT

I just notice my engine running liltle bit hot lately, the Temp needle went a bit pass middle about .2cm. The engine run hotter when i got the heater on and a bit cooler when a/c is on. Anyone have any idea what could it be? Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance for the input.

you could have air in your cooling system since you changed the coolant. there are a few ways to get it out or you can drill 2 or 3 holes in the thermostat. that might help.

you can burp the system by jacking the front end of the car very high so that the radiator will be the highest point on the whole cooling system.

Run the engine to normal operating temperature with heater turned all the way to HOT and turn it on high. Do this for about 5 -10 minutes. Let it cool down and then refill the radiator. Repeat about 3-5 times or until the coolant level stays the same. Sounds like the heater coil for the HVAC system might have a bubble.
