Ok, this has happend to my sc300 ever since I test drove it. The dealer is going to take care of it for me, but I need to find it so I can help them out. It was supposed to be fixed once, but it wasnt, so im going back ASAP!

The noise is hard to pinpoint in the car and its very rare that the noise happense when its parked, but still happens.

It sounds like a aftermarket door lock actuator. I know its not the actual door locks cause they dont sound like it. 98% of the time it starts doing the noise when I put the car into "D", I hear a small pop and then the "actuator noise". While driving it will do the actuator noise every 30 seconds to a minute.

I cannot tell where the actuator noise is coming from, but the initial pop comes from under the hood. Sometimes the actuator noise sounds like its coming from the back, sometimes the front, its just so flippin hard to tell where its at!

It happens at any given speed.

Any ideas?
