Well my SC is getting its a heart transplant from OEM stock NA 2jz to a JDM soarer 1jz tt since know one wants the motor and is also getting a soarer 5 speed swapped in to replace the stupid auto. So the 26th of this month its going in. i havent deceided if i going to install the single turbo at the same time yet but the rest is going in. and if anyone has a stock downpipe for a 1jz i might need it since i didnt get one with the swap, just incase i dont swap for the bigger turbo. So wish me luck! i will do my best and take a complete tech guide for everyone pic by pic. heres some pics of the swap that arrived from JAPAN!

as youll see the harnesses are clean and uncut very rare for a imported swap since most are chopped off.

i really would want $1100 for the motor considering the harnesses are uncut. i wanted $1000 before but think its understandable.

 

Very nice congrats......make sure you do the maintainance stuff before you drop her in belts front/rear seals etc.....

 

That looks like a 1jz from a Supra with the front sump oil pan.

 

I think we can do that...we'll work out the details when i check out the engine.

 

What do you mean no one wanted the motor?? I would be more than happy to take it off your hands. I dont mind paying for illegal smogs.

ya thats definatly a front sump motor, i have the same exact thing, cept i swapped over a rear sump upper and lower oil pan, i believe my motor came out of a jzx90 chaser. mine also has trac like yours, on the throttlebody. good luck with the wiring........

 

yea, it's from a chaser. I say he gets his money back, as he ordered a soarer engine.

I found an ebay link with the exact engine, it's from a supra. Ugh. Wiring nightmare.
