You obviously did not read the whole thread i posted! Look at the bottom of the video. I am realating that I want those mufflers on a SC!!

Yes Well a 2jzgte. I put that video up cause I wanted to see if i could get 2 sets of that muffler and hook it up to the lexus with custom piping! I love that sound and if you think that is a ricer sound, you are stupid!! I seen many supras that sound similar or are more ricier then that and wonder why they don't get flamed for it. And a Lex will always be a ricer cause it comes from Japan! I know I am going to start a fued but hey look at it this way its a uperclass ricer and I rather have it sound like a Supra then a american muscel car.

 

Even with the same muffler, it won't sound the same as that car because that's an RB26, and the head design and port design is what makes it sound so distinctive.

If you want a 1J or a 2J to sound like an RB, then you own the wrong car.
Reminds me of a post here about a year ago about how some kid wanted his SC400 to sound just like a G35 he heard!

Yes, I understand that the head and port are different I was just seeing if there was an exhuast that made a similar sound to it probably not the same as it but can be close with the 2jzgte.

 

maybe watch some more vids? but try watching some turbo sc/turbo is/turbo gs/ supra vids...

I understand you asking what exhaust will give you a similar tone, but a Toyota JZ engine sound/exhaust note differentiates substantially from that of a Nissan RB motor.

If you're really after that sound, Swap in a RB26 and run the same exhaust. It can be done theres pics of an RB26 Soarer on yahoo.jp images.

i feel that the sc and supra have a distinctive sound because they are I-6. Well thats ir u have a 300. Ive never heard a supra or sc sound anything close to a RB. I think the supra/sc have a much better sound anyways.

Ok well I found what the mufflers are on that RB and its an Apexi N1. I know that the sound will be different but just want to get something sportier with a good sounds so my SC dosent sound like a muscel car that most companies sell for it.

So I foundout what the muffler is and heard a video of an SC with it and to me it sounds good enough!! Not the same but I alreadt knew that but still sounded very good!
