Default Finally pulled the trigger...

I brought her home (to my friend's garage for now, gotta clean out mine this week).

$400, and I drove her away. We couldn't find a key, so I had to learn how to steal a Lexus. it started like a champ, and ran (with burning oil), but still ran great and smooth.

The interior was FILTHY, and still is (needs a new carpet, or perhaps shampooing), but we took out all the loose garbage (30+ CDs, DVDs, tickets, etc.), and took out the ripped leather seats.

Here's what doesn't work:

brake lights (as far as I know)
memory seats
electronic auto-tilt steering wheel
climate control lcd screen
left heated seat switch
left window (i found the window motor in the trunk)
speedometer
tach

everything else works, and since i only cleaned up the car, and didn't diagnose any of the probs, i'm sure i'll figure out the problems soon enough.

I have some BIG plans for this, as it will not be a daily driver.

I already ordered all the missing pieces for the interior, and i'm working on the 5spd swap parts now.

can't beat the price. Dents or no dents, interior or no interior.. 4 bones is 4 bones.

My advice- you're in it cheap.... keep it that way and watch what you spend.

yup, and it's nothing I can't do myself. I mean, the fact that this car drove was enough for me to buy it.

it had seats, they were ripped. The pics were taken after we cleaned up and took them out. i'll most likely either reupholster them, or throw them away.
