Supra/SC Control arms?
One of the reason why I wanted to upgrade the sway bars is that my car started to wander around on freeways after I upgraded my tires/rims (235/45/17 and 255/40/17) I was thinking that upgrading the sway bars will fix the problem along with replacing my old shocks.
Replacing sway bars aren't that hard? What about shocks? Any instructions on how to change shocks at home?

I don't think what you described is body roll. It's because you have wider tires with lower walls in the front. The wider tires give more contact with road and the lower walls give more feed back. This combination overall gives you a more sensitive steering and you have to pay more attention on the freeway. When you drive your wider front tires over an uneven cement, you feel it pulls to one side more than normal because of the wider contact. And the lower walls make it even more sensitve. This is why most of sport car have narrow tires in the front. Lower walls is better since you get more feed back but try to stay with the same width in the front like 225x50x17. I have 245x45x17 in the front and it pulls like crazy. Sometime i thought the wheels were loose. I will change to 225 next time.
I doubt if stiffer sway bars will help you with this problem. But they will help your car from rolling to one side around the curves/corners for sure.

Thanks for the input, I was going to put 225/45/17 in front with Yokohama db tires, I currently have 235/45/17 Yokohama A520 and someone in GS forum said Yokohama Db tires will solve the cars wandering on freeways/streets.

Also, check your tire pressure.
I checked it last night after reading stuff related to wandering vehicle from GS400 forum. My tire pressure was 28!!! Damn, for some reason, I put the tire pressure to 38 all around. To my surprise, my car do not wander anymore but it's way bumpier than before.
This led me to the question on aftermarket tires/rims. What's the right tire pressure? I always thought 35 was the right pressure, however, with 35 tire pressure, my car would wander on freeways and streets. What's the difference between 35 and 38 pressure? It seems like increasing the pressure up to 38 has stopped my car from wandering. But is it safe to drive on tires with 38 pressure?

I wouldn't waste my on getting the front ,as I believe it's the same as on our cars,but the rear ois an improvement for certain.
Be sure and get the rear subframe bushings so as to be able and mount the thing on your car.

I'm stuck replacing my front lower contol arms because of lack of bushings. Lexus arms run $470 in my area. Supra ones run $290. According to my research 93+ TT supra ones will fit correctly and they are a little stiffer. I would like to confirm this before I rip my car apart to find my parts don't fit. Also will SC shocks fit on these I wanted to get a new set of Tokicos and just keep the OEM springs. One more thing would upper control arms from a supra fit al well? Thanks.
There's a junkyard in Lynwood,named Nix99(425.743.2881) that has a Supra with a damaged front end there that you'd possibly be able and look at for comparison.I was just talking to Don there last week about bushing differences/interchangeability,since they are available for the '97 cars,but he didn't have anything that new.
I'm still looking at that option before I make my own,but that's what had to be done in the past,so it can be done.
