the LED wedges are only running lights along the top

the LED boards i made are on the bottom

 

think you should take the deflectors out to get that "crystal" look if you know what i mean

 

i need the internal "deflectors" they are there to diffuse the light. without them the LEDs would be shiney dots, but with them in, it creates a nice even pattern. i tested in the daylight recently and it was pretty bright. looked good. need to get around to installing.
