most likely forever since it is my first car.
when the engine and transmission die out...
it would then be time for 2jzgte + 6spd transplant
i will have a career by then and have money for this sort of project

I love my car to death, but once she starts breaking down and needing more maintenance, I'm gonna have to sell her.

SUCH a hard question for me. 1st, my car is still a baby (35k miles). And it's my DD, and i want to conserve her as much as possible. So most likely for a few more years, then depends if i need money for an NSX. BUT yet again, i would want to conserve the NSX too, so i'll have 2 cars, NSX and SC. YEA! i figured out my plan!! Can i take my vote back>?

Forever!!! This is the first car that I've bought since I knew anything about cars (My first bought car was a '97 Mustang convertible (Yeah I know)). I really love how classy this car is, no matter how old it is. Not to mention, it's a pretty exclusive car (Not only a blk/blk 5-spd '97, but just a nice SC in general)... Unless you live in LA, I hear. But most definitely here in Omaha, NE, where no one wants to live anyway, I think I have the only SC that's not a beater, I swear. But I digress... Yes, forever - I think that this car, except ridiculously fast, is pretty much my dream car.

My car is going to be garaged forever once I get racing out of my system.

Then I'll take her out once I have a son and when he has a car, so I can race him and beat him. Which will probably be in 20 years or so.

My Soarer will become the weekend fun toy when I've got 2 kids. One I can handle in this car, 2 would be too much (plus, the driver's seat doesn't auto slide forward when the lever's unlatched like the passenger side lol).

And when that time comes around hopefully will have my hands on an LX470 or something.

Im keeping it until I get beat by some 1600HP Neon or something crazy like that. Then Im going to open up the heart, give it some new lungs and a better nervous system (2JZ/6-SP) and bring it back to life with renewed vigor...and find that little neon and drive OVER it. Or until I get an Aston Martinn V12, whichever comes first.

I'm not sure how long I will keep mine. My exterior is done for the most part, I will be working on the interior now. And the motor well that's ongoing. I'm going single soon and after that I'll just chill until I get a R154 then I'll do more engine mods.
