Default New to CL

Hey all. I am a proud owner of a 92 sc400. I just picked it up this past weekend.
I have been trying to decide what I want to do to it first, I want to put a 99 sc400 front end on it, and I have searched but i guess the keywords are off. So I was wondering if it just bolts right up. I know the fogs are different, but the headlights look the same. I could be wrong. Also I am wanting to boost it but how easy is it to get a hold of a twin turbo kit, and has anyone had any problems running a tt setup on the stock motor. Sorry if I sound like a noob, I just have a lot of stuff I want to do, and I'm just trying to spend my money right so i can drive daily

ok, your thinking of a 97+ upgrade first of all so that would help your keyword, i havent done it so im not sure...
Headlights are the same.
Please post pics, id like to see your car.

About twin turbo, i think only one person has tt'd there sc400... it sucks i know, but you can supercharge it. thats very expensive though. Theres a company called raptor out of Australia that can sell you a kit for $5400 usd

Welcome to CL!!

First....Search, Search, & Search!!!!

Next...all body parts are interchangable on 1st gen SC's regardless of year.

Last....No such thing as a twin turbo kit for the 1UZ in the SC. If you want it, it has to be custom. There are a few on here. Browse the SC engine forum and you'll come across a couple of threads regardling this.

welcome to CL! i think youd be best going with a 1JZ which there is a ton of info on as far as the front end swap the sc with the 400 lip looks really good, just look at vince's sig. once you search for the 97+ swap youll find that the fogs wiring is different and you will after add a really or so not sure cause i never did it but i've read about it on here
