Default A Cheaper Alternative For Wheels???

Well i made a call yestrday cause i have some staggered 19's on my sc300 at the moment. The front lip is about 1 1/4- 1 1/2 inches and the rear is 3 1/2 inches. i have some MRR GT-1's in hypersilver. i called the shop that i picked the wheels up fron and he told me i could get the same wheels but only 2 of them for the rear in 20's with a huge 4 1/4 - 4 1/2 inch lip. To me it sounds good. how do u guys feel about the whold 19 and 20 inch??? Im not in it for power or anything like that but looks. i love the deep lip. Looks gorgeous to me. i can get this with the fenders rolled (PROPERLY), and a 255/30 streched tires for $1000 bucks balanced and installed. What do u guys think???

20s are HUGE for a SC! I really don't think you will like driving w/ them on the street.

19s are plenty for the SC. I think 20s....are going to cause problems.

On the plus side, 20s have more tire size options compared to 19s.

a guy i ran into down here in FL had 19's in the front and 20's in rear. It look nice, but now he's running 20's all around i think they were 20x9.5 in the front and 20x11 in the rear that look SICK. and the car is a daily driver too.

im not sure of the offsets but they are MRR-GT1. Their a mesh style wheel in hypersilver with a polished lip. Their nice. I believe the wheels r a 35 or 38 offset and are 20x10. i only want these in the rear like i said. he stated that they would rub but that he would strech some 255's on them and roll the fenders and it would not rub at all. He owns the need4speedmotors in pacoima and has a gs400 and sc400. He says he knows what hes doing for sure and i believe him. been to his shop and all and i love my car when it left. He said the 19's i have wouldnt rub but would be close and he was right...

I know this guy. He sells a ton of cheap rims on fleabay. I went to his place to look at the wheels for my brother's car and they were all hella cheap looking. He had an SC but didn't know a whole lot about them, but he had it dropped on some 19" ADR's.

You say, "He says he knows what he's doing for sure" but I say You better know what he's doing to your car for sure. Holla at me if you need anything man.

Personally, I'd stay away from 20's unless you plan to add a body kit and this isn't your daily driver.

Fresno streets + 20"s= Bad news. Especially stretched, but when it comes down to it, it's all about personal taste. Good luck on the decision.
