Question 97'-up tailight conversion, any help?

Just did the 97'-up tailight conversion in my 92' sc. Anybody got the best fix for getting the dash light to go off and turn signals to blink at the right speed? Wire in a resistor?

Check the contact inside the bulb socket, sometimes you have to push them up abit so that they make a good contact with the bulb, this may be the cause for the fast blinkers!!

For the dash light either take the globe out of the dash or get the 97 tail light module.

To fix the turn singals to blink at the normal speed, wire another extra 2 globes to the indicator wire loom on the 97+ tail light.

As the 92 tail light have:

3 x blinker globes

and the 97+ tail light have:

1 x blinker globe

nah, its the amount of bulbs in the 97 tail SIGNAL... 92-94 have 3 bulbs across the signal, where as the 97 only has 1 at that one spot.

^ So a resistor on each side would be an easy fix then, as was suggested earlier.

I'm doing the same thing. Where do I find the 97 module in the car. My donor car is a 95 like mine but someone already converted it to 97 and the lights worked fine in it. So where will the mobule box be? Thanks

all of my searches said that the 97+ module DOES NOT fit in the 92-94 because the plug/harness is different. it is not plug and play.

it only works on 95-96

92-94 has to deal with it
