hello!
My 96 SC400 is completely stock. I am the second owner as of October. Modifications are in the works (19" rims, modest lowering, BFI, exhaust, heated seats, etc). My goal is not to destroy the integrity of the car, but rather to simply enhance the cars looks, luxury, and performance.

The Lexus dealer in Fort Wayne cleans the engine after every service instance. This car has been to the dealer for service a dozen times in eleven years. I am most happy about the cleanliness of the internals of the car.

An equally good find is this forum. I knew squat about cars and even less about my SC two months ago. After a lot of late night searching and reading, I feel confident in my approach to upgrading my car thanks to the willingness of CL members to share their tribulations and successes. This forum is the most valuable tool for any Lexus owner.

a few things about my car...
its a '98 white sc300 automatic w/114K miles but has a 95 front bumper because the car was hit in the front and they (dealer) went cheap and replaced it with something older
But, I plan on taking off the bumper and removing the motor/transmission shortly so I can replace the automatic transmission for a 5-spd, check the motor for any issues, and I want a 97+ bumper but might just get a aftermarket front bumper instead for a more aggressive look. what else should I do...or what should i NOT do? thanks!

And, yes, I need to clean my headlights. There is condensation all over the place inside them.
