not really, the factory adjustment only allows an inch of lowering. Anything more and you'll run negative camber out of factory specs.

I didn't have that issue... I'm at least 1.6" lower than stock (fender sits at 25" almost exactly - same height as the tires) and I had no issues with getting everything within factory specs... I also, of course went and did the exact opposite and am running huge amounts of negative camber now... there is probably 3 degrees worth of adjustment in the rears, and at least 2 degrees up front...

as soon as I get my front LCA bushings replaced, I'll put her back on the alignment machine and find out exactly how much there really is...

Here is a list of known camber kit makers

JIC MAGIC www.jic-magic.com
IKEYA FORMULA www.ikeya-f.co.jp
YANAK www.yanack.co.jp

And any camber kit for the jza80 supra will also fit like a glove!

Lowering Springs are aftermarket springs that lower the car's profile and stiffen the ride quality slightly. Eibach makes Prokit springs for the SC300 and SC400 that will drop the ride height about 1 inch all the way around. These are the only springs that function within manufacturer's alignment specifications. The 1-inch drop is, in my opinion, what the stock ride height should be. If you want a sportier, modified look, you should lower the car a bit more. However all springs that lower over 1 inch will operate slightly outside of manufacturer's camber specifications (by one degree negative camber or less), which creates a negligible inside tire wear. This gives you use of about 90 - 95% of the tire's total lifespan.

manufacturers recommended is, IIRC, +.3 to -1.0 on the rear, and a little less negative on the front...

I'd say that post was made from some assumptions... Just because you read it on the internet doesn't make it true...

Like I said, lemme get my control arm bushings done (probably next week), and I'll get her back on the alignment machine and go through ALL of the available ranges...

While on this subject, can someone with stock suspension and stock or close to stock height tires measure from the ground to the top of the fenderwell... I am very curious to see how much lower my car is than stock... (it's supposed to be 1.6" lower, but I have a feeling it's lower)...

did you get that info... I would like to know where I "stand". I can tell the drop in the front but I think my rear height didn't change?? I may have to get some coilovers...

Okay, I just measured my car for you. (95 SC400, all stock)

Front = 26.5
Rear = 26.25

Give or take an eighth or so.
