Default driveshaft help...

I think i might have found somebody to make a carbon fiber driveshaft. the only problem is that the company needs an original shaft.

so... ... does anyone have a spare one lying around? if not - i can live without my car for 2-3 weeks while they design a CF shaft.

the company told me that the average price is 900-1000$, but i'm sure the price will come down if more people are interested. so, anyone interested?

I was wondering if someone can find out which Lexus have the same driveshaft as my '95 SC400. I 'think' that the 90-00 LS400, and all the SC4/3 use the same driveshaft. Not sure about the GS. A CF driveshaft should be great for you turbo'd 300's!

Can someone shed some light as to what CF will do?
What are the performance increase if any are possible?
How is this different then the OEM drive shafts?

The more info the better.

The primary gain is weight loss. A lower rotating mass is more easily spun. Kinda like an alluminum flywheel, but with out the drawbacks. Plus its stronger.
