Nothing like a 12 year old thread bump...I'm pretty sure your SC has no cabin air filter. Someone, correct me if I'm wrong.

Spray some Lysol into your front vents when the fan is on to kill germs. Get an a/c recharge kit at your local auto parts store, and listen for compressor clicking on and off when you engage the a/c button on the console.

My 93 SC400 definitely has a place to install a cabin air filter. I put one in last summer.
