Does anyone know what the ride would be like on the stock struts and springs with these rims...... By the way these are the same rims in my sig pic and you can find more pics.
rims - 19"
offset - 40mm
front tires - 255/35/19
rear tires - 275/35/19

I assume with that thin of a sidewall the ride would be a bit rougher, even on the stock suspension. On smooth roads you probably wouldn't notice the difference.
Yeah that sucks considering nyc is all potholes and bumps unless you go more towards long island

look at my sig, that's pretty close to what I have... on an SC though, those tire heights are actually too tall... the rear is about an inch diameter bigger than stock... 275/30-19 would be a better fit... same for the front, a 235/35-19 would be a much better fit... Originally Posted by ram3ez

19's are a pretty stiff ride... I love it... but you definitely feel pavement imperfections...

^ depends on the full specs of your rims, but the general consensus is yes....stock ride height is pretty high.

correct... 20x8.5 with a 225 or 235 width tire will fit all day any day with +35- to + 45 offset....Originally Posted by Xotic sC

235/30-20, 225/30-20, 225/35-20 would all be in the appropriate range with no fender mods or anything on the above setup...

i think 20s will be too much. stick with 19s go in the low 30s with the offset and you should be fine
