I see a Lexus every once in a while with goofy emblems like this. Usually they’ve been rear ended at some point and the paint looks funny.

It’s really common on Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist ads. People have no idea what kind of car they’re trying to sell and label cars like an LS400 a 4000SL or something silly.

 

If you ever see a car that looks stock but the emblems are backwards or oriented in the wrong way, 100% it was work done by a non certified bodyshop. It's confirmation the car was hit in the back and repaired.
