Default custom 97+ tails

so i'm thinking of taking on a project with the 97+ taillights and i just wanted to get some feedback from you guys. I was thinking of taking them apart and smoking the turn signal and reverse light and blacking out the chrome trim. I'm not sure how it would look but i think i might like it. lemme know what you guys think.

yea mine hasn't changed yet i just finished paying it off a couple months ago, then i bought the origin kit, my headlights are currently getting painted black along witht he high beams and retro fitting tsx projectors. Umm.....what else.... clear smoked side markers and i just paid for my work s1 wheels but i gotta wait 2 more months for them to get to me. Ohh and coilovers also are all sitting in my room. After i get the rims i'm gonna throw it all on and it should look pretty bada** just wondering what i want to do for taillights. maybe the takakiara lights but they're $800. whats going on with your car???

I dont really like the SC 97 lights to begin with, but a lot of people seem to like them

so by all means i say do it, if you got the money then give something original a shot, you never know it might turn out pretty durn sweet :-)

me niether but only because of the chrome. so if i can get rid of that aspect i think i might be happy with it, or i can buy the takakaira lights but they're 800.

I don't think it would look good. Here's a quick photoshop I did. I think it would look good if you just dechromed the lights.
