when i put it into neutral.. its at like 500-800rpms.. but when I put it into drive it jumps to well over 1000rpms.. maybe about 1200 or so.. this is the first car ive seen that has such a drastic jump in rpms just from switching gears.. Is there a way to adjust this?

you know what my car does this too but it only happend when i first start the car... after i drive it for awhile the idle goes down, maybe it needed to be warm up?
