Thanks for the pointers. I finally got it sorted out. For *my* car, the wiring diagram (t-7a) in the Apexi manual was correct for the ECU connector. You have to use the wiring diagram for "Hot-wire, Flap, or Pressure Sensor" and the yellow and white MAF wires. When finished, you should have orange, pink, and blue wires unused. Set the sensor to "pressure" and sensor type to "3". Everything works like a charm after that

Excluding the trial and error, the whole install took about 45 minutes. The hardest part was finding a spot for the display
