The only thing keeping me from getting this car and trading in my cl is the back tail lights...anything aftermarket that i could get to fix that?

Do the 300 & 400 have the same size lights? Also, fare they all freakin almost $400?!

 

I love the SC's tail lights, no matter what year I think they all look good. You could try the ebay aftermarket ones but alot of people like to hate on them... your pick!

 

If tail lights are all that's holding you back from this car, then find another car to buy.

 

I don't need another car yet, this would be a self-graduation present, I've just come across one for sale: a 96 sc400 w/ 105,000 miles, the guy just put 4k in it, and would sell it to me for 9k...so I might buy it early. I LOVE my car, but I'm not dumb enough to deal with all the crap it's given me twice.

 

Check out the different gens of stock tails (92-94, 95-96, 97+) and see if you like any of those... if not, check out some of the custom tail lights people have made, and make a design for your own. Personally, I'm going with 95-96 tails and modding them to my tastes.

 

i got those. heated them up. took them apart. red out the amber. now i'm working on an LED setup. those are the best looking tails IMO.

 

PErsonally, I love the all red 92-94 tails, they are awesome

but if I could upgrade to 97+ i would

also if I had a set of 95-96, I'd clear those out and rock those too.

Yes....Please go find another car...maybe a Chevy Cobalt...they have cute tail lights.
