Default It's getting hot in here.

Hi, I got a problem with cabin temperature, in my sc4. I don't think heater is on, and if I drive the car for more than an hour, it gets really hot in the cabin. the heat is comming in from under the driver side dash board( through foot vent), and the side of the arm rest. The car runs fine, and does not overheat. I'm totally confuse. It's kind of nice in cold weather, but *****'n in summer weather. Any advise would help... thanks.

You might want to look under the car to see if your cats are glowing red. If so, they are extremely clogged and need to be replaced ASAP or sooner. That is normally the first sign before it starts to recirculate that exhaust back into your engine, then ,,,,,well. Check your cats.

There are a couple of threads posted about this problem. Some have concluded it has something to do with the tranny/exhaust temps being right under you. More details should be provided with a search.

Good huntings.
