Today I tried to fix my tilt wheel...( the gear was grinding ). I did the mod to it and noticed the wheel will go up but intermitantly go down. It takes maybe pushes on the switch down to make it move maybe 1/2". So I hooked the motor up the a 12V source in both directions and I know it isn't binding. So I am left with either a switch or ECU. Which one would anybody recommend replacing???

 

i would do the switch the ecu rarely goes bad

 

my go back and forth but won't go up and down..is that could of be the switch also??or the motor?
