Lowering Help
Well i just lowered my 300 yesterday. I actually had the back lowered cause i was scared to do the front and was going to tak eit in but i ended up doing the front myself and finished yesterday. Im sure their the eibach prokit. I like the drop in the back but the front is getting to me. I heard from someone i need to loosen the bushings on the upper control arm im pretty sure and the car will lower even more. I heard right now there is much stress on the bushing and they will tear easily. Is this true? DO i have to loosen them to get the max drop? If so ima post pics of the before and after, and after lol.
well i did what i said id do and it worked. I dont know know how much the car actually lowered after this experiment but it lowered about 1 more finger lol. I dont know how else to measure. I have 19s so it fits perfect. I did all the work myself so i was just wondering. Ill post pics soon.
You loosen the bolt on the bushings, drop the car down, THEN RETIGHTEN THE BOLTS. Don't leave them loose. Allowing the car to settle down with the bolts loosened prevents the rubber bushings from binding.
