Got T-Boned Today
He might have to take a look into his suspension components. But I doubt its seriously damaged, aside from maybe minor components that are easily replacable.
He should be able to tell the severety of the damage, when I was rear ended in my sc300, there was extensive damage to the trunk area, but the car itself, drove and handled perfectly normal, as if noting happened. This is probably the best indication imo, if he should fix or scrap. Can he drive it perfectly normal? If yes then fix, if not, is the problem easily remedied, by replacing a damaged suspension component, or is it due to unibody being heavily tweaked?
This are all things to consider. Me personally Id fix it. Unless there is true "frame" damage. Ive tracked the car after my accident and maybe be due to more seat time, but it performed better then ever.

Sorry to hear about the car mate, it really sucks when your pride n joy gets violated like that. My car was involved in a minor front ender but I hate seeing the car the way it is at the moment.
If insurance is going to total it take it and buy a late model SC
keep it man
The bastard who hit me went to the same high school and ever time I saw him I wanted to slash his tires.
Finding decent SC's are getting more and more difficult, keep your baby. It's terrible when you get hit when you are doing nothing wrong, but i'm glad you are ok.
