So i searched the forum and couldnt quite come across what im experiencing. Basically whats happening is sometimes when i open the drivers door the handle gets stuck opened. Its not hard to knock it back to normal, all it takes is a little push. I'm just wondering if this is a sign of something bad happening? Anyone got any info as to whats going on?

 

mines do the same thing one of the hinge is broken on the handle whatever you do pull it on the side closer to the mirror .if you pull it on the keyhole side chances are you might break it right off

 

Be careful.....mine did this for a week or so and how I can no longer open the drivers door! I just had the dang thing painted too!

 

Catsofuk let me ask, did it do that after you painted it? Cause my door was repainted after a minor accident by the previous owner. So i gotta be careful you say. Im definately gonna take that into account.

 

A couple of days before I had it painted the exterior handle broke or whatever but I was still able to open the door from the inside. When I picked it up Saturday I could no longer open it up from the inside as well. Now I dont know what to do......

 

i cant open my door eiither!!! i cant take out the door panel to figure out what went wrong it just happened yesterday... and i cant rolled the window all the way down!?.. how can i get the door to open??

 

Dont try rolling down the window again.....the rod inside the door is out of place and it could break the window or at least get it stuck. If you find out what to do let me know as well. I have been told to get a slim jim (with the U end) and its fairly easy to open the door this way.......this really BLOWS!

 

my pass. door side window doesnt rolll all the way down either and i cant open it from the outside?

 

This thread has kinda gone off the original problem. I dont have a window problem, except the passenger window doesnt always respond with the driver side control....but my problem, which isnt really a problem, but could escalate to one is the handle on the outside sticking in the open position.
