Ok, so i was putting some stuff in my trunk earlier today and had my hands full so i just dropped my keys and all in the trunk and closed the lid not thinking about it. And then since my windows were down i just tried unlocking it and it set the alarm off, duh, Well in the scramble to open the trunk i accidentaly pushed the lock switch that makes it so you can't open the trunk without the master key which was in the trunk. SO now i can't get into my trunk to get my master key and was wondering if you guys knew anyway to release that lock switch other than having another master key made. thanks alot. guys

hahaha this happen to me about 3 months ago, and i had no spare. all you gotta do is go to your nearest lexus dealership and give them your registration with a photo id and they will make you a copy, they only charged me like 55 bucks. but before i went that route i called a few local lock smiths and they tried to charge like 200 dollars, and with them coming out they would have to drill your key hole out. good luck man

lol take out your rear speaker (sub) get a flashlight and a clothes hanger and start fishing .if yo have a magnet it might help

 

This happend to me last month, I did what was said above. The cheapest way "free" my favorite. There is a really good DIY on how to remove your rear subwoofer in the speakers section specifically for the sc. After you do that just push back the trunk lining and get a coat hanger hopefully your trunk is not full.
