Default project 1jz sc 400

i need all the help i can get ,i looked at clubna-t and the had some helpful info on doing the swap .from what i understand its not a plug and play installation .this is what i know so far:
1. the harness have to be extended 18 inches .
2. the mounts and brackets have to be changed to an sc 300
3. not too sure if the driveshaft is gonna fit
4. i know the rpm and wont work till i get thr msd tach adapter
5.a spool of 18g wire
6. 330 ohm resistor for themp guage
is the wireing the same on the sc4 and sc3?
what else i need to have this swap a sucessful project ?anybody have more experience and more famaliar with this swap willing to share some info wit me i would really apperciat it .thanks .trent.

1. yes
2. IT WILL FIT with soarer mounts or sc300 mounts or supra mounts.
3. no it will NOT fit. FOR SURE
4. RPM do not work without mods
5. sure, lenght only body plugs, ecu plugs are not needed to lenght. it will fit when put ecu upside down. tight but fit.
6. hahhah, not resistor, you must ground one wire that is not grounded via soarer wiring. in sc it is grounded via sc stock engine wiring. in 1jz there is empty pin, just ground it. When temp gauge will work perfectly well. I done that and work as stock 1uz for me.

I done 1jz swap to my sc400.

well finally i dropped the engine in this sunday (looks so sexy already)so now all i have to do is exted the harness and run my intercooler piping oh yea and the exhaust .the engine itself took me like 2 hours to swap ,easier than a honda .but the wireing is another issue by itself .should have it done sometime this week .so far so good though
