Well I just picked up my sc300 5-speed that I payed 1700 bucks for. Its needs some tlc but it was worth it. Well what the problem is, is after I get through driving it I hear a sizzling sound coming from under the hood from the back passenger side of the engine. I dont no if imleaking oil or what but its extra greassy back there. Smoke also comes up through the boot were the shifter is since it needs to be replaced. Im hoping that there isnt anything major wrong with the engine If you got any thoughts on this please chime in. Thanks.

 

At 1700? That's a steal. Use the money you saved to get a full engine detail, all of that goop is a big fire hazard. If oil ignites on the exhaust mani, your car is toast.

Honestly, there are probably a multitude of things to fix on the car. You might want to get it checked professionaly first, so you will know where to start.
