I'm planning on doing a ls400 conversion for the front brakes of my 95 SC400, however, my rears are down to the warning. While searching, I stumbled across a couple treads where people did the tt rear upgrade. My question is, can I do this first and then the ls400 front coversion later? If I do the tt rear upgrade will I need to change wheels from my stock 16s? I know I'll need high disk rims for the ls 400 front conversion, but do I for the rear tt conversion?

Thanks

High disk wheels are not needed for the rear.

Thanks, but can I use the 16" factory rims when doing the tt rear brake conversion?

Nope stock 16's wont work with TT brakes on rear either. I learned when I got a flat and my spare wouldn't fit.

Oh well! I guess I'll stick with what I have.
Thanks for your help.

its not that the caliper will hit the spokes its that the rotor is too big for 16'
ull be safe with 17+

Yep, The diameter of the TT rotor is just slightly larger.
If you plan on going larger rims in the future, upgrade the brakes. Otherwise the tiny little rotors look like bicycle brakes.

This thread reminds me that I need to get a TT spare.
