Default Underbody LED

Saw this posted in a GS forum from Jan 05, and the questions went unanswered.... So,
where/what do I buy, how much can I expect to spend, and how in the ****ens do I mount without:

1. Ruining my skirt.

2. Having it look like a briar garage job with the bulbs/strip (?) visible.

I would like the light to be fairly ambient, and look as if they were a dealer option

Any help, as always, is greatly appreciated.

BTW feedback on impressions of those you may have seen too...

....so it automatically edits out the '****' part of '****ens'.. okay.

well when i first got my car been there done that, it was a terrible decision cause the tubes showed and it looked ugly, and thankfully the road debree broke them all.

to answer your questions:
1. i dont think it will ruin your skirt? have someone who knows what their doing install them instead of making it a DIY.

2. like i said make sure the installer does a clean job, and make sure you have sideskirts to hide it under or it will look ugly. those spot light LED ones are the most classy looking and anything else would look tacky imho.

heres a pic i found on a SC in the gallery

Call me a ricer but I think LED puddle lights are cool. Mine are discontinued. 4 led's in each. Double sided tape. I could put screws into the side skirts too but not needed.

Wow, that's the worst mod I've ever seen. Sorry, but I prefer functional mods... not "look at me" mods. But to each their own...

They are functional so long as you don't keep them on while driving...having them come on with the interior lights when the door is opened makes them functional. They illuminate puddles so that you don't make a mess of your shoes and pants.

I saw the led feature on a Sick SL55 custom done. They came on with the interior lights and if done add a touch of class to your car. IT helps illuminate your ride and if you drop your keys, now you can find them at night, haha. But if you do it bad it will look ricey.

i have some varad under car leds for sale. brand new. ULX-300 i think. they are not neons, but leds.

Thats what I'm going for, they come on with the interior, or when door opens etc... Might not be possible without the ricey aftertaste.

Still not sold on the whole thing, but how much for the kit anyway?

Where did you get them from, and can I get them in gold/yellow?

My car comes from the factory with puddle lights built into the bottom of both doors. They turn on when I open and off when I close them. But if you like the little dots. That's cool.

I think it would be pretty dope if you wire it up to your alarm. Say for example, when you press it, the siren chirps and the LED on the sideskirt flashes. Not to be confused with the LED that flashes constantly when the alarm is armed. Just 3 flashes when you press the alarm

Mine are Eurolite Firelights. Discontinued so they may be difficult to find. They came in blue, red and rainbow ha. You may be able to find other colors with different brands.

Good ideas. You can wire them up however you like. These have a cigarette lighter plug for power with a button on top of it for on and off. I just turn them on for show once in a while

Here's my car with the spot led style. I installed it myself, drilling into the side skirt. I hooked it up to my dome light so when entering the door they come on, then fade out when door is shut. It is never on full time, too ricey. This is a major attention getter in public areas at night, very classy.... I attached one pic, the rest are in the gallery , hope this helps.

I would get them in white. The puddle lights.

They would look pretty nice hooked up to the alarm. Anyway to hook them both up on the dome and alarm?
