ok i know this is not normal. on my passenger side window i can move the glass up and down manually with my hand. i hear the motor working when i push the button up or down. what can be the issue here? can anyone here help me out?

 

Most likely the window regulator is broken, sounds exactly what mine did. Go to intellexual.com, or something along those lines.. or search here for DIY Window Regulator Fix.
