I love this board and its got tons of info, but I was wondering if there are any other Lexus boards? Thanks!

 

As you can tell by my name, I currently own a 2000 Z28. But I am looking for something else, and I am always in search of car knowledge. This board looks great. An SC400 is at the top of my list. But a lot depends on what kind of performance upgrades can be made and if the transmission is up to task. I know the Japanese have not had the same successes the American's have had with transmissions. Anyway, thanks again and I look forward to lots of valuable info!

Oh, I am also in SoCal, West LA

 

I raced Nova's for many years...and I never found a *factory* Chevy or Ford tranny that could take 4 or 500HP like the factory Lexus/Toyota trannies can...

if your looking to add performance buy the sc300 and add turbo...you will get a hell of alot more out of it...the 400 is not ideal to modify....with a sc300 you can get uptoo about 600 rear wheel hp on stock motor...Jeff
