to kit or no to kit?
If you could smooth it out and make it look clean it'd look alright, but you'd need wider fenders in the front and you'd need some crazy wide/flush wheels. Those wheels with those flares won't look right at all.

Paint could make a difference......paint the kit the same color as the car...it might look ok, if i were you i would take clear photos and see if someone could photoshop it for ya.

i agree. i think the car is a classy car. just the way it is. but someone in my hood had the kit 4 cheap. so i said @#*% it. plus i have a shop so its not a big deal. i just did a search and found that it is a ABflug type 2 kit. the only thing that worrys me is that the kit is fiberglass. plus i have to make my own fender flares!!!

To really make it look right and flush.
1) Get a set of Vertex wide fenders.
2) Buy some wheels that will sit flush with the front fenders and stick out a little in the rear.
3) Cut and roll the rear fender so that the wheels are fenders are flush with the wheels.
4) Mold over where you rolled the fenders. Kinda like Roo will be doing with his car.

Wider fender flares can be done, but they need to be balanced with the whole car. For example, BMWs have those on for a long time and they alway look sporty and hot. However, if not carefully designed, those flares will be so negative to the point that the whole car will be the ugliest SC. I've seen some Mitsu Eclipse and Civics with flares and they're so ugly.
In my opinion, to make those flares flow with the SC, the front bumper, rear bumper, and side skirts have to be wider and contoured as well, but not much. They should be wide to the point that their contour lines will sit just a little below the flares. Whatever you do, they shouldn't look bulky. Also, the flares themselves have to be very smooth and not wavy. This is where many flares fail, except from those of factories. One note is that I couldn't see the rear from the pic but the front definitely doesn't match with the flares. And if you succeed with the flares and bumpers, those wheels that you currently have are not fit in there. They're so small and tucked in too much. You need low offset and wide wheels so they'll sit right under the flares. Otherwise, the whole car will look like a lowered Chevy Blazer truck.
Putting the flares on aren't simple. It requires a whole custom job on fiberglass.
