Default To Clean or Not to Clean?

Alright guys, one of my signal bulbs went out and since I have to go and change it I thought, "Why not take out my headlights, open them up and clean them?" Here's the thing...I have a 98 SC300 and I've cleaned the outside several times (that seemed to be where most of the yellowing was happening) with much success (Meguiar's PlastX and degreaser work wonders). However, it's just not as crystal clear as the highbeams are. Below is a picture of how the headlights look currently, there isn't now and never has been any condensation on the inside but I'm wondering is it even worth it to break them apart then? Or is this just a permanent side effect of owning plastic headlight lenses? Your opinions are greatly appreciated.

There's this cleaning solution thing from ebay. I already tried it, and it WORKS. The cleaning solution is actually 3 different solutions. My headlights were yellow and looked very aged. I used the solutions and they look WAY better than before. It's something similar to this http://www.mdwholesale.com/ but on the site, they exaggerated the cleanliness.

defninately clean. It's not that hard and only takes a couple of hours and makes a huge difference in the overall appearance of the car.
